UPMC Whitfield Presents Education Day for General Practitioners
The event is part of a series hosted by the UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre and the Whitfield Clinic created specifically for general practitioners. The objective of the series is to provide a platform where a specific topic is chosen and experts in the respective field present the most up-to-date information and clinical advice.
Dayle Hacking, MD, medical director at UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre and Paul Hegarty, MD, of Whitfield Clinic presented on the treatment options available for this ever more common type of cancer. Other speakers included Ian Kelly, MD and Gerry O’Donoghue, MD, both from Whitfield Clinic. The event was certified by the Irish College of General Practitioners for three Continuing Professional Development credits, and 0.5 GMS Study Leave Session.
