Dr. Dayle Jeremy Harold Hacking, specialist radiation oncologist, received his medical degree at Godfrey Huggins School of Medicine, Zimbabwe.
After serving one year with the Air Force as a medical assistant, Dr. Hacking completed an internship in general surgery, internal medicine, and orthopaedics at Grey’s/Northdale Hospital Complex, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, where he also served as a medical officer. He then completed residencies in the department of surgery and department of radiotherapy and oncology at the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa.

Dr. Hacking is a Bard accredited proctor for Low Dose Rate (LDR) brachytherapy and has a special interest in uro-oncology. Dr. Hacking holds a number of memberships with professional and scientific societies, and has authored several publications and presentations.
In 2006, Dr. Hacking joined the UPMC team and was appointed medical director of UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre in 2014.
